My therapeutic approach
After my studies in Psychology, I completed my basic training in Family and Systems Therapy with Dr. Roberto Butinof. This was followed by a post grad training in Solution-oriented Therapy (Dr. Marie-Christine Cabié, Paris, and Dr. Luc Isebeart, Bruges).
My path gradually led me to simultaneously discover two radically opposed therapeutic approaches. First of all, Multidimensional Family Therapy (MDFT), an evidence-based practice, widely recognized for its effectiveness in treating youths with behavioural disorders; and, secondly a therpeutic approach placing (the therapist's) subjectivity at its heart- l'Abandon Corporel, developed by a team of therapists in Canada.
Lastly, over the past 20 years, I have been studying the biblical texts as an Essay of the ontological foundations of human nature and relationships. After a two-year course at the Ateliers Oecuméniques de Théologie 20 years ago, I have participated in various study groups on the first and second testaments.
